Overview of Project
A significant concrete construction project was completed for the Southern Project Alliance. The scope encompassed a 4,800m² FRP package for rail tanking slabs, the Balcombe Road bridge and abutments, and a heritage deck slab station concourse. Over 4,000m³ of concrete and 1,100 tonnes of reinforcement were installed within a three-week timeframe. Additionally, 1,300 linear meters of capping beams and 700 linear meters of in situ walls and upstands were excavated, formed, reinforced, and poured.
