Overview of Project
9,150m³ of VicRoads specification concrete was placed for the Bentleigh LXRP. Of the total 24,600m² area, 12,300m² was laid as blinding in just five pours using a 3D laser screed. The remaining 12,300m² consisted of structural base slabs (750mm to 250mm thick) poured in 11 pours. These base slab pours included the manual shaping of steep culverts. The project was completed ahead of schedule, with no incidents or injuries, despite 24/7 operations.
