Overview of Project

SpeedPro civil successfully completed the construction of the base slabs for the Franklin East Shaft, a key component of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel project. This complex undertaking involved the installation of over 1,500m² of base slabs, including a specialised FRP (fibre-reinforced polymer) package, at a depth of 40 meters below ground. The project also included the construction of a two-level sump area. Our expert team placed over 3,000m³ of structural concrete and installed over 1,100 tonnes of reinforcement, demonstrating their capability to manage large-scale, technically challenging projects in confined and demanding environments.
