North East Link – Bulleen & Watsonia Structures

Overview of Project

Speedpro Civil is currently delivering major concrete works as part of the North East Link Project, contributing to some of the most significant early and structural works in Victoria’s largest road project. At the Bulleen Cut and Cover site, our team has placed and finished over 30,000 m³ of blinding concrete and 58,500 m³ of structural concrete for the roof and plenum slabs, with individual pours averaging 2,000 m³. We’re also completing 34,000 m² of base slab blinding and waterproofing protection layers, including construction joints and stormwater pits, with structural pours up to 1,900 m³. At the Watsonia North Vent Structure, we are forming, reinforcing, and pouring a range of base and suspended PT slabs, in situ walls up to 8 m high, and constructing two 42 m high vent stacks using a state-of-the-art electric jump formwork system. This project showcases Speedpro Civil’s capability in delivering large-scale, high-volume concrete solutions for critical infrastructure.
