Speedpro have completed pour 6 out of 7 at Toll Group’s shipping terminal at Webb Dock. The job involved 20,000m2 of PT slab on ground works with over 5,500m3 of concrete in total. The post tensioned concrete slabs were a design change proposed to provide a more durable surface than the conventional asphalt pavements usually used on similar jobs. The below pictures are from pour 6 poured yesterday morning. The slab has an area 3,263m2 and took 876m3 of concrete all poured within a tolerance of 4mm. Our slab preparation has commenced for our final and biggest pour (3,427) which will be completed in a week and half. Great work from our team.
